HIGSON CRESCENT

Situated in the quaint Vancouver Island community of Qualicum Beach, this quintessential west coast waterfront home was meticulously designed to encapsulate the panoramic views of the Straight of Georgia to create an understated coastal retreat that offers an abundance of natural light, indoor-outdoor entertaining zones, and ocean front decks steps away from the beach. Spanning two levels, this 6000 sq. ft, 5-bedroom home will feature a blend of natural elements of marble, white oak, black metal, and locally quarried pale grey stone along with traditional elements, including a stunning 48” heritage Bertazonni white range which will be the centerpiece of the central kitchen.

Prior to construction, various sustainable measurements were implemented which included raising the property 6 feet to accommodate rising sea levels, installing a 150 linear foot environmental green shore, and preserving a 100’ tall Douglas Fir often frequented by eagles. Additionally, rather than demolishing the existing home, it was relocated to the adjoining property, which will serve as a guest house.

We are incredibly excited to work once again with our amazing clients from the Lower Mainland on their retirement dream home.
